Clay Kilgore is the Executive Director of the Washington Historical Society and host of Laid Back History. Clay graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors in History. Clay spent 8 years as the Historical Director at the David Bradford House and has experience as a Consulting Historian for a major television network. He began working with the Washington Historical Society in 2002. After 10 years there, he became Executive Director and has been in that roll since 2012.

Clay is a man of many talents from being a legit blacksmith to video production. He is involved in what seems to be every organization in Washington and has been a MASSIVE reason that this area has been able to lean on its history to drive growth and development.
